About Me

For those of you who don't know me, my name is George Zhao. I found out about this site quite unexpectedly. To be honest, I initially thought KPOP college was a joke until I read further. It's pretty OMG! I really want to try this! Why not? I know I can sing!

I had been singing since high school. I had quite a good voice, but I hate choir. I could sing songs better that has more pop or rap rythm than just some random rock band music. I have inconsistent pitch even though I am able to hit tenor treble notes regularly. I often thought of doing joining some song group as a possible future hobby. My parents were like NAH. :|

Even so, I never really thought of joining hands with Kpop. I was mostly emulating One Direction then. For Kpop, I thought the male groups were going crazy, and I was just jealous of female groups the way they sing and have fun together. I always liked Kpop and their visuals often impressed me more than their singing and dancing.

I love watching Korean dramas as much as Marvel, Pixar, or anime. My parents think I'm crazy, but I love watching the dramas (not because it's Korean) because they have a special taste you really can't find in other dramas. K-dramas include characters doing some fancy tricks, learn from silly mistakes, emotional outbursts that bring up your attention, to name a few features that has made K-dramas so memorable.:o

Myself, I'm a gentle, a-bit introverted awesome dude! I'm Chinese, but I'm allegedy around 25%+ Korean, descendants of refugees who fled Japanese occupation. This claim has yet to be officially true. Irregardless, I wasn't taught ANY Korean until I learned a bit starting junior high.:/

I was never able to pratice speaking Korean frequently. I have no idea how I still can retain some Korean with very little practice after 4 years without direct feedback to keep Korean tongue. A mix of determination (possibly I do have Hamgyong/Pyongan ancestry) has kept me to retain Korean vocbulary. Some say my Korean pronounciation is Chinese-North Korean fluctuating accent.

Why is my English so much better? I been living in the United States since age 7/8. I went through almost all my education in America.

I really hope I can make an impact! Thank you!

I'm glad that you're finding other friends to talk to and help you with your journey.
Good luck on your band! Let me know when you make your YouTube and etc!
MLDY is currently going to stay as four members until we go and audition for companies.

I know Georgie can be a bit irrational sometimes, but give him a break. We're actually pretty good friends. If you want feedback, don't always expect good feedback. If he is criticizing, I don't blame him. He's trying to help you.

Nah, you mainly say rude things or make condescending comments. I think you should just stop making comments on appearance and etc. MLDY has a lot of things in store for this month so just wait and see.

I hope you never have kids if you're just going to basically lead them into having an eating disorder and being unhealthy.
Also, please refrain from posting rude comments on MLDY's YouTube and our other social media.

I'm so confused about what you said about the kids stuff.

Are you auditioning for them?

The wait time is up to two weeks. If you do not hear back from us, then I would recommend auditioning again. Whether or not you get in is entirely up to our recruiting staff. You will just have to wait and see.

Why do you think she's naive?
What degrees are you getting?
Make sure you ask your kids if they want to actually be idols first.

And yes, you'll probably have kids before me.

George, I honestly did not want to talk to you again until you learned that you can't just keep talking to people like that. It seems like multiple people that you talk to on here agree with me. With the use of the group chat, we're supposed to motivate and help each other reach our goals, not bring others down.

You need to learn that if you don't have anything constructive to say then you shouldn't say anything at all. Because of my sister, I decided to give you another chance at being friends, but I'm letting you know now that I don't have any time for negativity.

2018 is the year for accomplishing goals and I am not going to stop until I get what I want. If you can't see me reaching the top with MLDY or accomplishing, just keep those thoughts to yourself, okay?

And yes, I was referring to the private message I sent you on here.

First of all, I'm in the process of losing weight and I honestly couldn't care less about what the fans will think about my weight. I'm not here to just look good for them, I'm here to make music that people can relate to.
Second of all, MLDY is going to AUDITION for companies so of course, if and when we get in, they will add in Korean members and etc. We've literally already thought this through.
Third of all, Rising Legends was one thing that wasn't too important for me at this time. You're acting like everyone gets to go to Korea and etc. I can gain more experience and exposure by regularly posting with MLDY.

I don't have to talk about sports, trivia, and etc with you. If you wanted to talk about those things then you should've brought them up. Also, you're acting like we never once spoke about sports and school?????

And also, why didn't you just reply to the email I sent?

Why do you have to make everything public?

I don't need your opinion on how to improve my features and I'll just leave it at that.

Sometimes it's way better to prepare than to just jump at every chance you see. If you don't take the time to improve, how do you think you will get in?

Because of my "average" looks, you don't see my chances of becoming a star? Is that what you're saying? I don't know how many times that I have to tell you that looks are not the most important. You could be the most good-looking person and if you still don't have any actual talent, you're not going to get far.
